About Us

J. D. Evilsizer

Evilsizer is the current Head Track & Field and Cross Country Coach at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia, and a four-time Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year. He has been meet director and finishlynx/ hy-tek operator for over four hundred cross and track meets. He has coached more than 20 years at the high school and college levels, winning ten Alabama State Championships while coaching at Smiths Station High School. As a runner, Evilsizer was the 1971 Gulf South Conference Cross Country Champion and the Grand Prix Series runner-up in 1980. He has obtained his bachelor’s, master’s, and advanced sixth-year degrees from Auburn University.

Pablo Sanchez

Sanchez has 20 years of experience coaching Cross Country and Track and Field at the high school and college level, having coached at four Division I universities. He served as the Host Coach of the 1996 Kenyan Olympic Team and qualified for the 1992 Olympic Trials in the 10,000 meters. He served on the Board of Directors of Georgia USATF. He has been meet director and finishlynx/ hy-tek operator for over two hundred and fifty cross and track meets. Most recently, he has served four years as the Georgia Region 2, 3AAA Meet Director for Track and Field and Cross Country. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Columbus State University and his master’s degree from Southern Mississippi University.
